What inspires me is you!
You let me see the world from your view
You know things I never knew
What inspires me is you!
For through you, I see a strange plant covered in alien dew
I see the stars anew
What inspires me is you!
Because of you, I now know there are a million shades of Blue
Thank you for letting me see the universe in another hue
What inspires me is you!
You inspire me, this is true
I take your inspiration with me, for one day I hope to be as inspiring as you
What inspires me is YOU!


Greetings Lovely Members........ Some of you know me as Blue, one of the many staff members. I just wanted to say thank you for your lovely work that you have put into our group. For those of you who know what it’s like to get an inspiring comment...it makes an artist's day sometimes! This inspires them to do greater things and to play it forward and inspire another artist.

I have many watchers who have told me over the years, that one of my pieces made their day...that when they are feeling down, they come in and view my gallery knowing they can find something to make them feel better. And that to me is worth more than gold. To know one of my pieces has touched another person's soul.

Though "Kiwi" is my other account especially for this group, I have been here on DA for many years as BlueDragonEye. I am more of many talented artist...I do paintings, drawings and sometimes as you can see above, poems.

I am much like yourselves, who have had not a marvelous childhood that most artists have, it’s why we become artists most of us in the first place to find worlds and beauty elsewhere to keep our sanity alive and well. But no matter how hard our lives are or get, we try to find inspiration and to inspire others...

How many of us have seen things that are so bad in our everyday lives that we come here to escape them? To find inspiration in the world of art knowing one or more of these artists have had the same back ground and life experiences that we have?

So I just wanted to remind you to give inspiration as well as by seeking it out...truly you are aware when you do leave a comment, it brings a smile to another soul’s face and enlightens them to do better and to as they say "Pay it Forward."

Thank you all for keeping our focus too, always wishing to inspire another with your words and you know you have inspired me greatly...if I leave your piece a poem.
